Flow in Business
At the heart of every successful company are its people and their performance. When the workforce are motivated and inspired to excel, great results can be achieved.
The Global McKinsey Institute’s research found top executives to be fives times more productive in flow. Corporations such as Toyota, Patagonia and Microsoft have built cultural philosophies around the state. World leaders such as Bill Clinton and Tony Blair have praised what can be achieved through flow. In the words of Sir Richard Branson, ÔÇ£In two hours in flow I can accomplish tremendous things!ÔÇØ
The Flow Centre was born to educate and coach people who are not already finding flow in their day-to-day. We train people to embed functional behaviours that allow them to thrive. Our team has over 15 years experience working with companies, olympic athletes and elite performers, we know what it takes to improve performance.
In flow every moment leads in to the next, our mind and body become synchronised, our actions become effortless, decisions are made and not debated, and we intrinsically enjoy what we are doing. The workplace becomes a an exciting training ground; a challenging environment in which people are engaged and inspired to return to.
According to Gallup research76% of employees are disengaged including 16% of people who have checked out altogether – actively disrupting productivity of the engaged employees.
Our training and coaching turn disengaged and unmotivated employees into thriving individuals.
We focus on a variety of different themes that combine to deliver a comprehensive psychological training program. We work to build your teams knowledge base and provide practical tasks that manifest independent and empowered workers.
All training sessions are assessed to measure flow and performance increases. Over time profiles for individuals can be used to target further training. We collect and report data that signpost engagement and motivational deficits, burnout, and company dissatisfaction before they occur.
